Marking the band's first original release, the song was born from the loss of a dear friend and explores the universal emotions of grief, remembrance, and acceptance. Illustrated by longtime collaborator and visual artist Josh Clark, the "No Time for Time" music video transforms those themes into a vivid visual narrative. The story opens with a member of the wolf pack lying in the snow at the end of their life, prompting Highway Wolf to guide Purdie on a surreal exploration of The Great Transition and the natural cycle of life. Drawing inspiration from Alice in Wonderland and the dreamlike works of Salvador Dalí, the pair travel through
symbolic landscapes that examine saying goodbye from literal, spiritual, cosmic, and fantastical perspectives. As they return to the wolf's side, sorrow remains, but it is met with a newfound sense of peace and acceptance. Throughout the video, recurring Alice in Wonderland motifs, including Purdie's appearances as the White Rabbit and the Mad Hatter, alongside teacups and clocks, reinforce the song's meditation on time, mortality, and the enduring bonds we share with those we love.
